Concierge Services - Once you are here, we'll be more than happy to arrange limousine, or touring van escorted wine tasting tours (Experience Finger Lakes, Guilt Free Touring and Euro Sedans). Along with dinner reservations, theater tickets, day spa packages at Rasa Spa and August Moon Spa or whatever sparks your interest. Now at Juniper Hill, enjoy a personal spa treatment right in your own room. Indigo Moon Mobile Spa Services will come right to your room at a time you schedule, for facials, body wraps, massages of all types, couples a specialty. Visit their website or call at 607-592-0441.
Gift Certificates are available in any denomination, with no expiration date, mailed to you or the recipient, with a thank you note and brochure.
POLICIES
Juniper Hill Bed & Breakfast strives to maintain a safe, quiet, pleasant environment for all guests. To this end we have adopted the following policies. By securing a reservation, guests acknowledge they have read and agree with the following.
Reservations
Please mention any gift certificates/coupons at time of booking.
Published rates are subject to change without notice and may vary according to availability, special events, and holidays. Room rate is for single or double occupancy. Prices do not include 11% NYS sales and room taxes.
A credit card or cash/check deposit is required to reserve a room. Prepayment of 50% of total or cost of one night's stay, whichever is greater, will confirm your reservation. If reserving less then two weeks before arrival full payment is required.
Your reservation balance is collected upon arrival and check-in. All confirmed reservations are subject to a $25 administrative fee.
Check-in
Check-in is between 3pm and 8pm. Early and late check-in requires notification at time of reservation or as far in advance as possible. Check-out is by 11am. We accept Visa/MasterCard, Discover, Checks and Cash.
Early check-in or late check-out when available is an additional $25 per hour. With 24 hour notice, if your early arrival time changes, we will gladly credit your bill.
All unregistered guests must sign in upon arrival. Well-mannered children 13 and over are welcome. Children under 18 years of age cannot be left at Juniper Hill without an adult parent or guardian accompanying them.
Sorry, we can not accept pets; but please enjoy our Jack Russell Terrier “Celeste,” and our new addition a Goldendoodle puppy named "Cody" (what were we thinking!). See pics on the top and bottom of our contact us page. If you are traveling with your pet, there is a wonderful pet B&B right in Ithaca, NY with heated floors, piped in music, air purification, dog runs, and many extras available with their doggie day camp. Just pick up your pet and go hiking, boating, etc. Check our Bed and Biscuit Ithaca.
Cancellations
You must call in any cancellation or change in reservation to make sure it is received. For cancellations of 14 days or more (60 or more for graduation weekends), you will be refunded your entire deposit minus a $25 administrative fee. If you reschedule your stay for at least the same amount of days, a full credit (your $25 administrative fee is then waived) will be applied to your new reservation.
For early departures and cancellations less than two weeks/60 days, you are responsible for the entire amount of your stay. We will gladly refund you for days not stayed only if we are able to rebook all the days; and your refund, if any, would be determined and sent to you after the intended reservation dates, minus your $25 administrative fee, which will be applied to any confirmed reservation change/cancellation.
Juniper Hill Bed & Breakfast cannot refund for inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. We strongly encourage the purchase of Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment!
Service Charges
Guests are kindly requested to provide prompt notice of any accident that results in fabric or carpet soilage, item breakage or other damage to help minimize the need for cleaning/replacement. Accidents are naturally expected; however, cleaning/replacement charges may be necessary, if damage is beyond normal expected facilities use or to replace missing items.
No smoking, candles, or open flames in rooms.
No smoking is allowed within or immediately adjacent to Juniper Hill for health and fire hazard reasons. A designated outside smoking area with ashtrays is available for guests' use. Due to fabric and upholstery tendency to harbor smoke odors, a $300 cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card on record for anyone not adhering to the smoking policy. Due to insurance limits and local fire codes; candles, incense, or similar products with open flames may not be used on the property.
A pleasant stay for all
Although measures have been taken to reduce noise transmission within the house, Juniper Hill has its squeaks, creaks, and bumps in the night. Each guest is asked to be respectful and considerate of other guests to ensure a pleasant and quiet stay for all.
